Our Team
Originally from Nebraska, Kandyce moved to Colorado with her husband & three girls in 2011. After an exciting career in the equine world, it was time to start a new adventure in Colorado. Kandyce graduated from the College of International Esthetics in June of 2012 and has been practicing esthetics in Evergreen since 2014.
Along her journey, Kandyce has been involved in nearly every level of the esthetics industry including, brand ambassador, educator, and cosmetic skincare formulator. After struggling to find the "perfect" product line, she started her skincare line, Phytodermix in 2020. Aside from creating skincare and makeup products, Kandyce loves providing results-oriented services that create beautiful transformations. A life-long animal lover, her family currently has 5 pets, Luna the German Shorthair, Bubba the English Pointer, Summer the Axolotl & Peach Cobbler the Leopard Gecko.

Mindy Strawn, LE
Mindy is a born and raised Florida girl, who made her way out to Colorado in 2010 to enjoy a different pace of life. In January 2020, Mindy decided to embark on a new career path and found her home at Avalon School of Cosmetology in Aurora, CO. She has been licensed and practicing esthetics since October 2020 and is currently certified in chemical peels, dermaplane, microdermabrasion, eyelash extensions, microneedling, and (soon to be!) laser.
Mindy’s favorite services to perform are microcurrent treatments and 90 minute facials, about which she says: “If I can provide skin education and relaxation, while setting you up for ultimate skin health, then I’ve done my job!”. When she’s not in the treatment room, Mindy enjoys hiking and camping with her Australian Shepherd, Stryder.
